EPR staff have extensive experience with interfacing and working with project stakeholders and the public using innovative and interactive processes. EPR recently completed public involvement processes for the Virginia Tech transit center location project and also the City of Lynchburg transit intermodal and maintenance center location studies. EPR also recently conducted a multi-day charrettes for a small area planning exercises in Fauquier County. In addition, Bill Wuensch recently led an extensive public visioning and scenario planning process for the Lynchburg Regional Long Range Transportation Plan and various VDOT/MPO sponsored multimodal corridor studies. Innovative approaches include small group work sessions, the investment game whereby participants vote with play money relative to their priorities for infrastructure investment, and visual preference surveys among others. EPR has also participated in numerous roadway project public hearing processes by providing traffic simulations and visual renderings of potential roadway improvement scenarios.
