Fauquier County On-Call Transportation Engineering Services

EPR has been assisting Fauquier County with a variety of transportation planning and engineering services since September, 2010. Assignments have included reviews of Traffic Impact Studies including proffer statements, facilitation and analysis for a small area visioning effort in the Marshall Community, and assistance with VDOT coordination regarding the County’s preferences relative to locations of utilities and typical sections within traditional neighborhood development areas. Fauquier County has carefully planned out its growth areas and is interested in providing context sensitive transportation improvements that encourage multimodalism. EPR staff is assisting the County by applying innovative thinking with the review of traffic impacts and development proposals as it pertains to desired mobility and transportation facilities. EPR is also assisting with transportation analyses relative to the Virginia UDA legislation by serving as the transportation engineer in community Charrettes and the development of the small area plans.
